Breakthrough Teens C.A.F.E. program to explore post-graduation options
Teens and young adults ages 16-20 are invited to the Breakthrough Teens C.A.F.E. , where they will learn more about the various post-graduation opportunities available to them, specifically apprenticeships and training programs that teach young people the skills they need for well-paying jobs, and do not require a four-year college degree.
The clever C.A.F.E. acronym stands for College Ain't For Everybody, and meetups are once a month on every second Thursday. The first session will be held on September 12 at Springhill Recreation Center from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Please note that this program's intent is NOT to discourage college as an option, but to make sure students graduating from high school have a better sense of ALL options, including skilled trades.
