Hillsdale - Community Glow Night

Event to promote awareness of our multicultural community as "One Mobile." Come immerse yourselves in the cultures of the world that reside right here in our own city. Enjoy displays of authentic artifacts, entertainment of many countries, and a parade of the flags of many nations (you may even participate.) Experience the warm glow of our beautiful diversity and to add an element of fun, you'll find yourselves surrounded by multicolored lights.

Note:

ADDITIONAL EVENT DETAILS:

** Cultural attire is encouraged.

** Feel free to get decked out in all your glow accessories and bring glow wands to show your appreciation for the cultural performers. (We will have a limited number of glow necklaces to give away.)

** There will be singers, dancers, and musicians, plus a special performance by the Old Shell Rd Elementary School of Creative and Performing Arts Chorus.

** There will be awesome cultural and informational display tables. There will also be an exhibit of dresses from the 2024 MPRD International Fashion Show and Exhibit that you won’t want to miss.

** Food trucks will be on site. We acknowledge those observing Lent and Ramadan, and we hope our food trucks will accommodate all of your dietary needs.

** Everyone who wants to participate in the Parade of Flags is welcome, and needs only to bring the flag of their family’s home country/territory.
